                                Neighbourhood Plan    Draft Presentation

posted 10th February 2017

The St Breock Parish Council is arranging for a display of the above neighbourhood plan to be held at the Paddock Room at Hawksfield on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th February between 7pm and 9pm on both days.

This is the 'draft' document consisting of 94 pages and it is going to be on display so that the local community have a chance to read it and send back their comments to the plans 'steering committee ' This is the only public display that will be undertaken locally.  The deadline for the return of the residents comments is the 17th February,  It is entirely up to the community as to whether or not they wish to attend the Hawksfield evenings but this is the only opportunity they will have to see the document displayed and to have their say. I understand that the next document that will be produced will be the actual Neighbourhood Plan which will then go out for ' public ' consultation.

Their are 'hard copies ' of the document available at Wadebridge library and the Town Hall for the public to read. The Parish Council are putting a notice in the local paper to advertise the two evenings at Hawksfield so that the local community within the three parishes involved in the 'plan' have the opportunity to come along and see it in a more open format.

Subject: For your info from St Dennis Steam and Vintage Rally

Dear Clerks and Parish and Town Councils members,
I am emailing you with reference to a brand new Family event in the village of St Dennis, The St Dennis Steam and Vintage Rally was formed on 22nd sept 14 and a group of enthusiast are working hard to bring this new family event to the heart of Cornwall which will benefit the whole of Cornwall in one way or another as the funds raised will go back in to sustaining the rally for future years and the rest will be for 2Cornish charities ( This year Cornwall air Ambulance and St Dennis Branch of Cancer Research ). We have been lucky enough to secure funding from the National Lottery (1st rally to have been successful with lottery) BBC Radio Cornwall, Community First, Cornwall foundation, Cornwall Council and St Dennis Parish Council.
The event is lucky to have a special guest Martin Oliver who is the owner of the Great Dorset Steam fair (biggest rally in the Uk and one of the biggest in the world) to be there for the weekend to open the rally also to do Q&A sessions, The event is over the Easter weekend 4th and 5th April and it has been kept low cost on entry to be there for all family age groups, the event has gained local and national coverage in the press also exhibitors from all over the UK, You can find us on Facebook St Dennis Steam and vintage Rally and on twitter @StDennisSVRally
I hope you can bring this to your members and please share with your community and I have attached a poster you can share on your website or print off for your parish notice board, I hope you can take this info to your meetings in correspondence, any other info please contact me on email I will be happy to help, Also we have a tractor run leaving from St Dennis WMC car park at 10 am on the 1st of march in aid of the rally as well for more info please contact me on this extra event thank you.
